Going out with a bang:

Chuck’s tenure as the District Rotary Foundation Chair (“DRFC”) ends on June 30, 2019, but our banquet on November 8th will be his last Foundation Awards Banquet as the DRFC.

It is poetic that his last banquet will celebrate the district’s first $1,000,000 year in 2017-2018. Past District Governor ({DG) John D. Padgett and DRFC Chuck Arnason want to celebrate the clubs and devoted Rotarians responsible for this stellar year of generosity. As PDG John’s theme stated “Rotary: Making a Difference.”

Hair today, gone tomorrow:

You may remember that previously to Chuck challenged Rotarians to give, give, give and in exchange he would shave his head. Well, they did and he did.

This year he has made no such challenge, but maybe we could give him a special thanks for his innovation of the recognition points match on “Giving Tuesdays, the special promotion of Benefactor promises, and his strong support of the Paul Harris Society, which he once chaired before becoming District Governor  … oh so long ago.

Every Donation Matters:

He and PDG John are proud also, that this year District 7600 has two generous donors inducted into the e Arch Klumph Society.

But, Chuck & John salute all Rotarians who dipped into their accounts or their estates to support the work of The Rotary Foundation.

So, you have tonight (November 3) and tomorrow (November 4) to register for the banquet.  Because of headcount reporting requirements, there can be NO walkins for the banquet.
