EREY, Every Rotarian Every Year Report, Happy Birthday Jim Probsdorfer, Jim Halasz, Larry Davis

Does every member of your club give?

As Foundation Advocates, Club Foundation Chairs, Area Governors, and Club Leaders we walk the walk and others in our own clubs watch us to see what we value.  The District Rotary Foundation Committee exists to assist all of our clubs and their leaders in being the kind of Rotarians they aspire to be.

A couple of weeks ago Ken Hodge, District Development Chair wrote an article on EREY is for Everyone.  In it he wrote “As a leader, the choice for leadership style and process, is yours.  And we, as your District 7600 Foundation Committee will support you in whatever choice you make.  If you want to be a 100% EREY club, we can help with educational programs, committee training, campaign design and implementation, and general hand-holding.  All you need to do is ask.”

Consider being the leader in your club that advocates for EREY, regardless of your title. If we can help … ‘All you need to do is ask.’

A visit to the south boston club

Last week on a beautiful almost Fall-feeling day the South Boston Rotary welcomed me to their meeting at Ernie’s, a superior cafeteria with real home cooked food. President Jim Halasz and Club Foundation Chair Larry Davis spent some time chatting with me after the meeting as we looked over their Club Recognition Summary. Both got excited when they saw how many club and member recognition points they had accumulated and how they could use those points on a matching basis to encourage member giving to the Foundation.

Has your club checked out your recognition points lately?  Need help?  Ask your Club Foundation Chair or Foundation Advocate to assist you in accessing your club’s reports.
