Yes, it is a tad more complex than that, but:

Many clubs in the district have experience with district grants.  Far fewer clubs have experience with global grants.  The deadlines for round 1 and round 2 of district grants have come and gone, but global grants are on a rolling deadline.  If your club or your club and sister clubs are thinking about building a global grant there is time to do that.

grant engagement by clubs in District 7600.  Her Global Grants Chair is Bill Liepis of the Western Henrico club and is the lead on all matters relating to district grants.  Both SuAnne and Bill can be found via dacdb.com.  Log on to dacdb.com, click on  ‘find a member’ , type in one of their names, and click on search.

If you have already reviewed some of the material available you will have a head start on what questions you need to ask to get started.  Review of these materials will also give you a jump start by helping prepare you for the Grant Management Seminars which will begin in the spring of 2017.  In-person attendance at a Grants Management Seminar is a requirement of The Rotary Foundation to be eligible to receive a rotary grant.
